This world is a big place, a very big place. And in this ever expanding world, it is becoming increasingly accessible to connect with each other across the different corners.
That is why we have this life. So that we may find out different and unique ways to connect with each other. At the same time, it is equally important to stay connected with our own self. To stay connected with our true nature.
Humility comes with introspection and a true and compassionate understanding of our own life. Hence, my dear friends, let us be kind to our own self. In today’s age, it is important to first be kind to one’s own self, first create that space of kindness within our own self. It is what will enable us to hold that space around us as well.
Building Love
Building love is the most essential thing to do and the most intelligent thing to do. And it is easy to build love. You can build love by listening, or by being present. You can build love by holding someone’s hand, by being truthful. By watering a plant, or by listening to a bird sing. You can build love by singing to someone or by dancing with someone, or by eating together with someone – silently enjoying the taste of each morsel you eat. Sometimes, saying ‘no’ can also build love.
Have Goals, Remember your Passions
Have big goals and small goals. Long term goals and short term goals.
Yes we have challenges. Some challenges in life are really tough. There are routines to be lived and tasks to be completed. Even through all this (even if it hurts sometimes), remember your passions – what excites you, what gives you joy, what gives you a greater understanding of yourself. Your passions are helping you grow; it is your passions that make you stand out. Nurture them, help them to grow with you. Trust your potential. Difficult roads often lead to the most beautiful destinations. And sometimes, you just build that destination yourself. Sooner or later you and your passions will meet, unexpectedly.
Take Your Time, Learn Something Different. Take your time to learn, to find your path. In his book Love it Forward, author Jeff Brown says something really beautiful. I read it as a quote on Instagram once, but it stayed with me as a mantra.
Sometimes the people with the greatest potential often take the longest to find their path because their sensitivity is a double edged sword- it lives at the heart of their brilliance, but it also makes them more susceptible to life’s pains. Good thing we aren’t being penalized for handing in our purpose late. The soul doesn’t know a thing about deadlines

Believe in your journey.
Hold on To Those Who Love You
Let them give you and be there for you. Receive with grace. You can always pay it forward, whenever life offers you a chance.
Remember Your Roots
Every now and then, connect back with your roots. The place where and the people with whom you have grown up. This will always help you to stay real and focused, and grounded. Nourish your roots, so they can nourish you back.
Finally, Embrace Yourself
The good, the bad, the ugly. Every time you feel like stopping and giving up, just look at yourself in the mirror – truly look at who you are. Your eyes, your face, your limbs your whole body. It is yours. Thank each and every part of you. Your soul is still breathing. Your heart is still beating. Your eyes are still blinking. You are still alive, so keep going.
