The concept of Self-Work was coined in 2007 by Sonia Mackwani, the founder-director of Touching Lives Welfare Trust. Self-Work* as its name suggest is continuous work on oneself. The understanding that no matter what happens in our lives, the external or internal circumstances, the best we can do is to work on our own selves.
Our ‘selves’ are a gift to us. And thus, the practice of nurturing this very self will help us to lead a conscious and healthy life. Self-Work* was designed as a mantra at Touching Lives organization. It was a platform to learn tools and to do holistic practices that can help heal ourselves and thus, invariably heal the planet. A healed heart has a whole universe to offer to the world.
Self-Work is an approach to living a life, to always working on ourselves, to improvise, to learn aspects of self and others, to execute the practices in our day to day work, to have clarity of mind, to develop and maintain relationships and to lead a better mental and physical health.

Why? Because people want to know who they're doing business with. It's a human thing.
